A genuine Alsatian winstub in Barr, in the Bas-Rhin
From the entrance, the spirit of traditional winstubs asserts itself naturally. Wooden Alsatian chairs, artwork inspired by Hansi and Tomi Ungerer, traditional furniture, warm materials… Every detail helps recreate the atmosphere of these houses, where people come as much for the welcome as for the food.
In fine weather, the terrace extends this experience in the heart of Barr, facing the town hall, in a lively and convivial setting.

A terroir cuisine led by chef Serge Cutillo
At the helm of the kitchen, Serge Cutillo, long-time chef of the renowned winstub Chez Yvonne in Strasbourg, brings his expertise and deep knowledge of great Alsatian classics.
The menu showcases the typical dishes of regional gastronomy: presskopf, onion tart, ham hock, baeckeoffe, as well as the essential choucroute garnie, starters and mains followed by equally emblematic desserts, such as the frozen kougelhopf. A generous cuisine, crafted with carefully selected produce and in keeping with the recipes that have built the winstubs' reputation.
The spirit of Alsace's winstubs, right down to your glass
